🌊 Improvements coming to Minnehaha Park

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is planning a suite of improvements to Minnehaha Park, with a few set to begin soon and a more daunting one going back to the drawing board.

South slope overlook

On the drawing board is the south slope overlook, the stone-clad platform and stairwell across the falls from Sea Salt. (The more popular viewing area and stairway on the Sea Salt side is not part of the project.) It's been closed for more than a year as its concrete and limestone walls crumble away.
